Position Summary
For our manufacturing plant in Chennai, we are looking for Industrial Automation Engineers preferably with hands-on experience in Bosch Rexroth and B&R Automation systems. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the automation and control software for our flexographic printing machines. Knowledge of flexographic machine operations will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the programming of the Automation system including the logic control and motion control for flexographic printing machines.
- Implement and troubleshoot HMI/visualisation systems.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams to integrate control systems into the overall machine architecture.
- Manage version control and documentation of software projects in repository.
- Optimize control logic for enhanced machine performance, reliability, and safety.
- Participate in system commissioning, testing, and debugging at the factory and customer sites (remotely as needed).
- Support service and maintenance teams in resolving complex control-related issues.
- Provide training and technical documentation for internal teams and end users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in working with flexographic printing machines or other web handling / packaging machinery.
- Knowledge of tension control, registration systems, and print process workflows.
- Experience with integrating third-party sensors and devices (cameras, encoders, etc.).
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
