-Supervising the MEP work Electrical, plumbing and fire fighting work in day to day activity.
-Proactively identify conflicts between different MEPF systems or between MEPF and building components.
-Work with contractors to ensure that shop drawings and on-site execution faithfully translate the original design intent.
-Monitor the progress of the work, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
-Track all design processes, decisions, and changes. This includes managing Requests for Information (RFIs), reviewing submittals, and preparing regular progress reports for stakeholders.
-Conduct thorough reviews of MEP drawings, specifications, and calculations for accuracy and compliance with project standards before they are issued.
-Communicate regularly with the client to understand their project goals and constraints, present design solutions, and ensure their satisfaction.
-Coordinate with approval authorities to ensure the design meets all local regulations and standards.
-Collaborate with the cost management and project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities. This involves suggesting alternative materials or methods without compromising the system's integrity or performance.
-Study tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and design basis reports (DBR) to ensure all client requirements are captured and to anticipate potential additional costs .
-Support the site team during construction by reviewing MEP installations for compliance, responding to site queries, and participating in project close-out activities.
