Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician with a valid B Licence to handle electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of electrical works. The candidate should have good technical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to manage electrical systems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Supervise and monitor electrical works carried out by technicians and contractors.
- Inspect electrical panels, wiring, motors, generators, and other electrical equipment.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and routine inspection of electrical systems.
- Identify electrical faults and take appropriate corrective action.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out according to safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Maintain electrical records, maintenance reports, and inspection documents.
- Coordinate with other departments and contractors for electrical-related activities.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper use of electrical tools, PPE, and safety procedures.
- Monitor electrical load and equipment performance.
- Handle emergency electrical breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Valid B Licence is mandatory.
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience as an Electrician / Electrical Supervisor preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work shifts or handle emergency maintenance when required.
