About the Role
As a Data Analyst, you'll work with large datasets to identify patterns, measure business performance, and deliver actionable insights. You'll partner with multiple teams to develop reports, automate data processes, and help leadership make informed, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Preparation
- Gather, validate, and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources
- Clean, transform, and organize datasets for reporting and analysis
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Maintain documentation for datasets and reporting processes
Analytics & Business Insights
- Analyze operational and business data to identify trends and opportunities
- Create recurring and ad hoc reports for stakeholders
- Develop dashboards that provide clear visibility into key performance metrics
- Identify process improvements based on analytical findings
- Support forecasting and business planning initiatives
Reporting & Visualization
- Design interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools
- Present findings in a clear and easy-to-understand format
- Monitor KPIs and communicate performance updates to leadership
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations
Process Improvement
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks where possible
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve data workflows
- Support data governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus
- Understanding of databases, reporting systems, and data modeling
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, operations analysis, finance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
