Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement of industrial field instruments:
- Flow Meters (Electromagnetic, Ultrasonic, Mass, Vortex, Turbine)
- Pressure & Temperature Transmitters, Gauges, Analyzers, Valves, Fittings
- Evaluate RFQs and negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms with suppliers
- Identify and qualify new vendors (domestic and international)
- Coordinate with Engineering, Stores, Accounts, and Projects teams
- Release purchase orders in ERP and track delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with taxation (GST), import procedures, and documentation
- Manage procurement schedules for ongoing projects and tenders
- Review vendor performance, lead time, and quality adherence
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- 2 to 6 years of technical procurement experience in instrumentation or automation industry
- Familiarity with makes like Siemens, Endress+Hauser, WIKA, ABB, Yokogawa, Honeywell, etc.
- Experience in international sourcing (China, Europe, UAE) is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and ERP skills
- Strong understanding of datasheets, BOMs, project procurement cycles
