About the Opportunity:
One of our clients is looking for a skilled Data Analyst in the banking domain. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data handling, ETL processes, and database analysis, along with good programming skills in Python.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load)
- Good hands-on experience with Databases (SQL-based systems preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Python for data analysis and scripting
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries
- Experience in working with large datasets and data validation
- Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and reporting
Good to Have Skills:
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau)
- Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Experience working in banking or financial domain
- Familiarity with Agile development environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using ETL pipelines
- Perform data analysis to support business and operational decisions
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis
- Develop Python scripts for automation and data processing
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems
- Work closely with business teams to understand reporting requirements
- Support data-driven decision-making in banking operations
Additional Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to work with technical and business teams
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Prior experience in banking/financial services is preferred
