Job Purpose
The Agriculture Officer (Trainer) will be responsible for conducting agricultural training programs, providing technical guidance to farmers and field teams, and supporting the promotion and effective use of the company's agricultural products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training programs, seminars, workshops, and demonstrations for farmers, distributors, and field staff.
- Provide technical knowledge and guidance on:
- Crop management
- Soil health and fertility
- Organic and sustainable farming
- Pest and disease management
- Fertilizers, nutrients, and agricultural inputs
- Modern agricultural practices
- Demonstrate the proper application and benefits of company products at the field level.
- Plan and conduct farmer meetings, village-level awareness programs, and agricultural camps.
- Develop training materials, presentations, technical notes, and product information in simple and understandable language.
- Visit farms regularly to understand crop conditions, farmer requirements, and agricultural challenges.
- Provide practical solutions and recommendations based on field observations.
- Train the sales and network team on product knowledge and agricultural concepts.
- Coordinate with distributors, sales leaders, and local agricultural stakeholders for training activities.
- Collect feedback from farmers and field teams regarding product performance.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
- Maintain records of training programs, farmer participation, field visits, and demonstrations.
- Support the company's business development activities through technical expertise and farmer engagement.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. Agriculture / M.Sc. Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent qualification.
- Additional specialization in Agronomy, Horticulture, Soil Science, Plant Protection, or Organic Farming will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in agriculture training, field extension, agri-input sales, farmer advisory, or related activities.
- Freshers with strong agricultural knowledge and excellent training skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of agriculture and crop management practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to train and interact effectively with farmers and field teams.
- Knowledge of local crops and agricultural practices in Chhattisgarh.
- Ability to conduct field demonstrations and practical training.
- Good command of Hindi; knowledge of English is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Raipur and nearby districts.

- Training participant feedback and engagement.
