About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Service & Application Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Ventilators and Anaesthesia Workstations. The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, application support, and customer training for critical-care equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, inspect, and maintain ventilators and anaesthesia workstations at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and performance checks.
- Handle breakdown calls and provide timely technical support to hospitals, dealers, and distributors.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide clinical/application training to doctors, anaesthetists, nurses, and biomedical engineers.
- Support customers in proper operation, configuration, and application of ventilators and anaesthesia workstations.
- Maintain service reports, installation reports, preventive maintenance records, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with the production, R&D, quality, and sales teams for technical issues and product improvements.
- Assist in product evaluation, troubleshooting of field complaints, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to dealers/distributors and guide junior service engineers.
- Travel to customer locations as required for installations, service, training, and demonstrations.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in medical equipment service and application support.
- Strong hands-on experience with ventilators and anaesthesia workstations is mandatory/preferred.
- Good knowledge of medical equipment electronics, sensors, pneumatic systems, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and service procedures.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to independently handle field service assignments and technical escalations.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
