Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and performance-driven Team Leader to oversee Private Health Insurance (PHI) lead generation for the Australian market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching consultants, ensuring compliance with Australian health insurance regulations, and maintaining exceptional customer experience standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Private Health Insurance Sales Consultants.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and ensure achievement of KPIs.
- Develop action plans to improve individual and team performance.Manage attendance, productivity, and workforce discipline.Drive sales conversions and revenue generation across health insurance campaigns.
- Support consultants with objection handling, sales strategies, and closing techniques.Monitor lead management processes and sales pipelines.Identify opportunities to increase policy sales, upgrades, and customer retention.Ensure all sales activities comply with Australian Private Health Insurance regulations and company policies.Conduct regular call audits and quality reviews.
- Monitor script adherence, disclosure requirements, and ethical selling practices. Address compliance gaps through coaching and corrective action plans.Deliver onboarding and refresher training programs for sales consultants. Enhance product knowledge and market awareness related to Australian health insurance. Identify training needs and implement continuous learning initiatives.
- Support employee development and career progression.Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.Analyze sales trends, conversion rates, quality scores, and productivity metrics.Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and campaign performance.Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.
- Pre-requisites:
- Proven experience in Team Leader within the BPO or telecom/energy sales Industry.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Team Leader experience in Insurance, Health Insurance, or BPO Sales.Strong understanding of Private Health Insurance products and the Australian market.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in team coaching, performance management, and quality monitoring.Knowledge of compliance requirements and ethical sales practices.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in CRM systems, dialers, and sales reporting tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Bachelor's degree preferred.
