Responsibilities
- Documentation: Prepare, review, and process shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and Certificates of Origin for Import/Export.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Customs Acts, HSN codes, and regulations to avoid penalties.
- Customs Filing: Handle Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) filing via systems like ICEGATE, including E-Sanchit submissions.
- Coordination: Act as liaison between importers/exporters, freight forwarders, and customs officials for clearance.
- Duty Calculation: Calculate and arrange payment of customs duties and taxes.
- Logistics Coordination: Follow up with transporters for timely delivery of cleared cargo from CFS/airports.
