SAP QM Consultant (S/4HANA)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP QM Consultant with 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Quality Management (QM) to support and enhance quality management processes within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP QM, a solid understanding of integration with other SAP modules, and the ability to translate business quality requirements into effective SAP solutions.
This role involves configuration, troubleshooting, process optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business and quality requirements, including ISO standards and industry-specific regulations, into SAP QM processes and system solutions.
Configure and maintain Inspection Planning, Inspection Lots, Sampling Plans, Sampling Schemes, and Inspection Characteristics (Qualitative and Quantitative).
Design and support Master Inspection Characteristics (MIC) and inspection-related master data.
Configure and manage Quality Notifications for defective materials, customer complaints, and internal non-conformance processes, including CAPA activities.
Support quality inspection processes, result recording, usage decisions, and quality reporting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize quality management processes across the organization.
Analyze incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution for SAP QM-related problems.
Support integrations between SAP QM and other SAP modules, ensuring seamless end-to-end business processes.
Participate in testing, deployment, documentation, and user training activities.
Work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom developments.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in SAP ERP Quality Management (QM).
Strong expertise in SAP QM configuration and implementation.
Hands-on experience with:
Inspection Lots
Sampling Plans and Sampling Schemes
Master Inspection Characteristics (MIC)
Inspection Planning and Result Recording
Quality Notifications and CAPA processes
Deep understanding of SAP QM integration with:
SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP MM (Materials Management)
SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
SAP Ariba
Experience with Batch Management, Serial Number Management, and Digital Signatures.
Knowledge of Quality Certificates, output forms, and Document Management Systems (DMS).
Working knowledge of RICEF objects and strong debugging/ABAP analysis capabilities.
Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments.
Familiarity with Fiori-based quality applications and real-time analytics.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, incident management, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Nice-to-Have
Experience in end-to-end SAP QM implementation or S/4HANA transformation projects.
Exposure to SAP Quality Management best practices in regulated industries.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile project delivery.
Experience with advanced reporting, analytics, and SAP Fiori application extensions.
SAP QM certification or relevant SAP functional certifications.
Pay: From ₹26,277.22 per month
