Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager – Sales to drive business growth and market expansion for our range of Electric Buggies, Golf Carts, and Battery-Operated Vehicles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the complete sales cycle, building strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets.
This role reports directly to the National Sales Head and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of India's growing electric mobility sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within institutional, corporate, hospitality, industrial, healthcare, airport, and campus mobility segments.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable mobility solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Sales Management
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Execute both hunting (new business acquisition) and farming (existing account management) activities.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with customers.
- Ensure timely order conversion and revenue realization.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams for effective resolution.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with management.
- Support strategic initiatives to expand market share and territory coverage.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer data in CRM systems.
- Track sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasting.
- Submit periodic sales and territory performance reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in B2B, Institutional, Corporate, Industrial, Capital Equipment, EV, Automotive, or Mobility Sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical product information effectively.
- Experience in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
