Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and organized Accountant cum Secretary to handle basic accounts, office coordination, documentation, follow ups, scheduling, and administrative support for our hospital and clinic operations.
The candidate should be able to manage accounts records, payments, receipts, petty cash, vendor follow ups, patient related billing coordination, and also support the management with day to day secretarial work.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounts, income and expense records
- Handle petty cash and daily cash entries
- Prepare and maintain payment vouchers, receipts, bills and invoices
- Coordinate with vendors for bills, payments and account statements
- Maintain purchase bills, service bills and expense files
- Support GST, TDS and statutory documentation with the auditor or accountant
- Update accounts in Tally / Excel / accounting software
- Track pending payments, vendor dues and receivables
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly accounts reports
- Coordinate with front office, billing team and management for financial records
Secretary and Admin Responsibilities
- Assist management in daily office coordination
- Manage appointments, meetings, reminders and follow ups
- Draft basic letters, emails, WhatsApp messages and official communication
- Maintain important documents, files, agreements and records
- Coordinate with vendors, staff, consultants and service providers
- Follow up on assigned tasks and update the management regularly
- Handle confidential information with discipline and professionalism
- Maintain staff attendance, leave records or basic HR documents if required
- Support hospital administration and clinic operations whenever needed
- Prepare reports, lists and documents as requested by management
Candidate Requirements
- Male or female candidates can apply
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English
- Basic accounting knowledge required
- Experience in Tally, Excel and billing software preferred
- Should be organized, responsible and detail oriented
- Should be able to maintain confidentiality
- Should be able to coordinate with vendors, staff and management
- Prior experience in hospital, clinic, company office or auditor office preferred
- Should be punctual and willing to work in a professional healthcare environment
