- Assist the House Manager in supervising and directing all front-of-house staff, including ushers, ticket takers, and concessions personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures for the venue, including pre-show checks, securing the premises, and preparing for the next event.
- Manage patron flow, seating arrangements, and resolve any seating or ticketing issues efficiently and courteously.
- Respond promptly and effectively to patron inquiries, concerns, and complaints, striving to enhance their overall experience.
- Implement and enforce venue safety and emergency procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid protocols, and incident reporting.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Box Office, Stage Management, Security, and Cleaning staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct pre-show briefings for front-of-house staff, assigning duties, and communicating important event-specific information.
- Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, and seating areas, before, during, and after events.
- Assist with inventory management of front-of-house supplies, including programs, promotional materials, and emergency equipment.
- Train new usher staff on venue policies, customer service standards, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare incident reports for any accidents, disturbances, or significant issues that occur during an event.
- Ensure compliance with all accessibility guidelines and assist patrons with special needs.
