1.Production Execution: Plan daily shifts and allocate manpower to meet production schedules and targets. Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and track daily output
2.Quality Control: Enforce quality parameters to minimize scrap, internal rejections, and customer complaints. Conduct regular audits of finished parts using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers and micrometers.
3.Die and Tooling Management: Coordinate die-setting, tool changes, and tool maintenance procedures. Ensure proper storage and inventory of press-related consumables and tooling.
4.Maintenance Coordination: Act as the liaison between the shop floor and the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance and resolve mechanical or hydraulic breakdowns
5.Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety regulations and Lean principles like 5S and Kaizen to maintain an organized, hazard-free environment
6.Reporting: Document production records, update inventory in ERP systems, and prepare shift performance reports for management
