Job description:
· Supervise the work of labourers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
· manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the architect
· Communicating the progress report to the Construction Project Manager
· ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
· check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
· plan the work and efficiently organise the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
· oversee quality control, health and safety matters on site
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in civil engineering /related field is preferred.
· 1 year of experience of working with construction firm (preferred)
· Sound knowledge on technical drawings.
· In-depth understanding of construction procedures, tools and materials.
· Problem solving and conflict- resolution skills.
