Software Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and providing resolution for BMC BPPM/TrueSight system. He/She will ensure that BMC BPPM/TrueSight systems are correctly monitored, maintained, and accessed to ensure accurate high availability for end-users.
- Provide L2/L3 operational support on BPPM/TrueSight, BMC Server Automation, as per agreed SLAs
- Experience in L3 Support, Administration and Development is essential.
- Maintain BPPM/TruesSight platform availability as per agreed availability commitment
- Develop new customizations, integrations, and reports
- Troubleshoot BPPM/TrueSight application, customizations, integration issues.
- Follow the ITIL standard best processes.
- Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out of new features
- Assist customer drive adoption of the monitoring solution across the environments
- Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Should have worked in Managed Services environment
- Strong knowledge and experience of MRL Development
- Experience on UNIX/LINUX operating system and ITIL framework is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of networking and database concepts
- Excellent in troubleshooting BPPM/TrueSight applications, integrations, customizations.
- Well organized with a positive attitude, and ability to work and communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
- Should be customer facing.
- Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.
