We are looking for a motivated and responsible Junior Civil Engineer to assist in the supervision and execution of construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site work, coordinating with contractors and ensuring work is completed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site.
- Monitor work as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors and site workers.
- Check quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Take measurements and maintain site measurement records.
- Prepare daily site progress reports.
- Monitor material consumption and site requirements.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plaster, flooring and other civil works.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers.
- Identify and report site issues and delays.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed at the site.
- Assist in quantity estimation and material planning.
- Maintain site documents, drawings and records.
- Ensure work is completed within the given timeline and quality standards.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred.
- Good understanding of construction drawings.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage site activities and contractors.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at construction sites.
Education:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
0–3 years of relevant experience. Freshers with good technical knowledge may also apply.
