The Team Leader – Sales (B2C) will be responsible for leading a team of Academic Counselors/Sales Executives to achieve student enrollment targets. The role involves driving sales performance, coaching team members, monitoring conversions, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience throughout the admission process.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Academic Counselors/Sales Executives.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team.
- Monitor individual and team performance through regular reviews and feedback.
- Conduct training sessions, role plays, and coaching programs to improve sales effectiveness.
- Foster a high-performance and result-oriented sales culture.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Drive admissions and revenue growth through effective lead management and conversion strategies.
- Ensure timely follow-up of inquiries generated through digital marketing, referrals, walk-ins, and other channels.
- Support the team in handling complex sales discussions and objections.
- Track conversion ratios and implement strategies to improve enrollment rates.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets consistently.
Process & Operations
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in CRM systems.
- Maintain sales reports, pipeline data, and performance dashboards.
- Monitor lead allocation and productivity metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and admission processes.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to improve lead quality and customer experience.
Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
- Ensure a professional and consultative approach to counseling and sales.
- Address escalations and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the enrollment journey.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Team enrollment/admission numbers.
- Revenue achievement against targets.
- Lead-to-enrollment conversion rate.
- Team productivity and follow-up efficiency.
- CRM compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Customer satisfaction and retention metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in B2C sales.
- Minimum 1–2 years of team handling experience.
- Experience in EdTech, Banking, Matrimony, BPO, etc.
