Role Overview:
Position: Website Developer Intern
Duration: 3-Months
Location: Remote
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Website Developer volunteer to assist in building, optimizing, and managing our web presence. In this role, you will play a key part in designing user-friendly interfaces that showcase our global initiatives and streamline access for individuals seeking support.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Website Creation & Design: Design, build, and deploy new web pages and features to enhance user experience and accessibility.
Site Maintenance & Optimization: Maintain the foundation’s website to ensure high functionality, speed, and seamless cross-device compatibility.
Content Integration: Collaborate with internal teams (PR, Content, and Projects) to update web assets, post announcements, and display active programs.
UI/UX Enhancement: Ensure visual design alignment with our brand guidelines while optimizing navigation paths for visitors seeking mental health resources.
Job Specifications & Requirements:
Platform Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in using Wix (hands-on experience with Wix Studio or Wix Editor is required).
Basic understanding of web design principles, UI/UX, and mobile responsiveness.
Strong creative mindset with an eye for detail and clean visual aesthetics.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote team setup.
Passionate about contributing to social causes, non-profit initiatives, and mental health advocacy.
Ability to commit to a 3-month duration.
