About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quadient Workflow Engineer with expertise in Quadient Inspire Customer Communications Management (CCM), Azure Cloud, and enterprise document processing solutions. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable document composition workflows while integrating Quadient Inspire with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print management systems and Azure cloud services.
This role requires strong experience in document lifecycle management, workflow automation, enterprise integrations, and high-volume batch processing to support business-critical customer communication solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuadient Workflow Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Quadient Inspire workflows using Designer, Scaler, Interactive, and Automation modules.
- Develop enterprise document composition templates for print and digital communications.
- Build reusable document components and workflow automation frameworks.
- Support end-to-end document lifecycle processes including composition, formatting, bundling, distribution, archival, and tracking.
Document Processing & BlueCrest Integration
- Integrate Quadient Inspire workflows with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail processing systems.
- Develop high-volume document generation and print workflows.
- Support print stream generation, output routing, job scheduling, and postal optimization.
- Ensure seamless integration between document composition, print production, and enterprise applications.
Azure Cloud Integration
- Design and implement integrations using:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Blob Storage
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Develop scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Integrate enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, and file-based interfaces.
- Build event-driven workflows using Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.
Workflow Automation & Performance Optimization
- Optimize workflows for high-volume batch processing and near real-time customer communications.
- Implement monitoring, logging, exception handling, retry mechanisms, and alerting.
- Improve workflow scalability, reliability, and processing efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning.
Data Integration
- Build ETL/ELT workflows supporting XML, JSON, CSV, and other enterprise file formats.
- Develop integrations with ERP, CRM, and core business systems.
- Ensure secure and reliable movement of document and customer data across enterprise platforms.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure document workflows comply with organizational governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Support audit requirements, document traceability, and archival policies.
- Maintain technical documentation, reusable standards, and deployment procedures.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, DevOps teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
- Support CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps and Git.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Quadient Inspire Customer Communications Management (CCM).
- Hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire Designer, Scaler, Interactive, and Automation modules.
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, and Azure Service Bus.
- Experience integrating Quadient Inspire with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail solutions.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, workflow orchestration, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, XML, JSON, and CSV-based integrations.
- Knowledge of high-volume batch processing and enterprise output management.
- Strong SQL, Python, and JavaScript programming skills.
