Job Summary:
We’re hiring a hands-on Civil Supervisor to manage day-to-day site work for commercial buildings. You’ll be the link between engineers, contractors, and labor.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Execution & Monitoring
- Supervise daily construction activities: excavation, footing, column, slab, brickwork, plastering, finishing
- Ensure work is done as per drawing, BOQ, and site engineer’s instructions
- Check line, level, plumb, and alignment using measuring tools
- Monitor shuttering, bar bending, and concrete pouring quality
Labor & Contractor Coordination
- Handle 20-50 labor: mason, bar bender, carpenter, helper teams
- Give daily targets to maistries and check attendance
- Coordinate with contractors for electrical, plumbing, painting work
- Report labor shortage, material delays, or site issues to PM
Quality & Safety
- Check material quality: cement, sand, aggregate, steel before use
- Ensure curing is done properly for slabs, columns, plaster
- Enforce PPE usage - helmets, safety belts, jackets at site
- Maintain site safety, barricading, and cleanliness
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily progress report, labor register, material inward register
- Take site photos/videos and share on WhatsApp to PM/Client
- Do material reconciliation - check wastage of cement, steel, bricks
- Record hindrance, rain delays, drawing issues in site log book
Material Management
- Give material indent to store 1 day in advance
- Check quantity & quality when material arrives at site
- Prevent theft/wastage, ensure proper stacking of steel, cement
Education / Qualification
Diploma in Civil / ITI Civil / http://B.Tech Civil
Experience: 1-2 years in building construction. Must have handled G+3 or above
Skills: Can read structural & architectural drawings, use measuring tape, dumpy level
Languages: Telugu + Hindi mandatory. Basic English for reading drawings
Site Knowledge: RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing stages
