Position Summary:
The PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Incharge will be responsible for ensuring all new vehicles are thoroughly inspected, quality-checked, and prepared as per company standards before delivery to customers. The role ensures zero-defect delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of all new vehicles.
- Ensure proper fitment of accessories as per job card/invoice.
- Check vehicle cleanliness, fuel level, tool kit, warranty booklet, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Sales, Workshop, and Yard team for timely vehicle readiness.
- Maintain PDI checklist records and daily reporting to management.
- Ensure no pending technical issues before handover.
- Monitor vehicle storage condition and yard management.
- Train and guide PDI technicians for quality compliance.
- Ensure adherence to OEM guidelines and safety standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of automobiles.
- Leadership and team handling skills.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering preferred.
- 3–5 years experience in automobile dealership workshop/PDI department.
- Experience in Mahindra dealership will be an added advantage.
