JOB TITLE : Purchase Manager
LOCATION : Panipat

Role & Responsibilities :
- Handle procurement of raw materials, engineering components, and consumables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays.
- Forecast material requirements and coordinate with production planning.
- Manage transportation and logistics for inbound materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability.
- Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payment coordination.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation.
Required Skills :
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Experience in forecasting material requirements.
- Inventory and warehouse coordination.
- Transportation and logistics management.
- Cost optimization and purchase planning.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement within an Engineering or Manufacturing company (EPC organization)
- Good understanding of mechanical components and engineering materials (Steel, Motor, Gear box, Cable, cable tray, Instruments etc).
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with Production, Stores, and Finance departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
