Able to take control of the Tandoor Section
Key Responsibilities
Tandoor Operations: Expertly manage, clean, and maintain the tandoor oven, controlling high temperatures for proper cooking.
Food Preparation: Marinate meats and vegetables using traditional spices, yoghurt, and techniques.
Menu Execution: Prepare a variety of breads (naan, roti, kulcha) and grilled items (tikka, kebabs).
Quality Control: Ensure dishes meet restaurant standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
Hygiene & Safety: Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation and hygiene regulations.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of ingredients and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Experience: Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef in a professional, high-volume kitchen.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian, particularly North Indian, cooking techniques.
Skills: Strong marination skills, expert knowledge of spices, and proficiency in dough preparation.
