Cyber Security Analyst – Job Description:
We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to help protect our systems, networks, and applications from security threats. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security best practices to ensure the safety of organizational data and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats and suspicious activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Implement and maintain security controls and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor logs and security alerts from various tools.
- Assist in securing web applications, servers, and databases.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to address security issues.
- Maintain security documentation and incident reports.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security trends.
Required Skills:
- Understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Network Security concepts.
- Familiarity with Security Monitoring and Incident Response.
- Understanding of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows and Linux).
- Understanding of Firewalls, VPNs, and Network Protocols.
- Familiarity with Security Tools and Log Analysis.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Understanding of Authentication, Authorization, and Security Best Practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SIEM tools.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security risks.
- Familiarity with Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of Security Compliance frameworks.Knowledge of Ethical Hacking methodologies.
- Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Freshers with Cyber Security projects, certifications, or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience:0–2 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Network Security.

Compensation:
This is a performance-based internship with no fixed monthly stipend. Interns who successfully complete the 3 month internship and demonstrate strong performance, commitment, and contribution may be eligible for a stipend, incentive, or completion bonus based on their overall evaluation.
