Job Summary
OJD Education is looking for a responsible, punctual, and disciplined Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for the Director, staff members, and official company work. The candidate should have a valid driving license, good knowledge of local routes, and a professional attitude. The Driver will also be responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive the Director, employees, and guests as per official requirements.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as per the assigned schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep all vehicle documents, insurance, PUC, and registration up to date.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays and ensure timely arrival.
- Maintain a daily vehicle logbook, including travel details, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with the Administration Department regarding vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Maintain complete confidentiality regarding official travel and company matters.
- Be available for official duties, meetings, and outstation travel whenever required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification: 10th Pass (12th Pass preferred).
- Valid LMV Driving License (Commercial License preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of driving experience.
- Good knowledge of Lucknow city routes and nearby areas.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation applications.
- Good communication skills in Hindi; basic English knowledge will be an advantage.
- Honest, disciplined, punctual, and well-mannered.
- No history of major traffic violations or criminal record.
