Role Overview
The PPC Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery as per customer requirements. The role involves production planning, material planning, capacity planning, inventory monitoring, production tracking, dispatch coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve production targets while ensuring safety, efficiency, and optimum resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Capacity planning and execution.
- Monitoring of production on a daily basis to track Plan Vs Actual production gap.
- Material planning as per Production schedule.
- Monitor inventory status and generate inventory reports to reporting manager.
- Plan and ensure dispatch schedule as per customer schedule.
- Assist Sales unit in coordinating and planning customer orders and deliveries
- Ensure secrecy of system and document at all levels.
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to meet production demand.
- Schedule shift according to production needs.
- Address issues and take firm countermeasure to ensure smooth production flow.
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.).
- Generate and present MIS reports accordingly.
- CFT working.
- Ensure safety at workplace.
- Identify training needs and plan training accordingly.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering with 3 - 4 years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Production Planning (Manufacturing).
- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning).
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
