Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Presales / Solution Consultant with 2–4 years of experience to support customer discovery, solutioning, demos, proposal creation, and technical presales activities across Atlassian, DevOps, ITSM, and Project Management solutions. This is a technical and customer-facing role, requiring the ability to understand customer requirements, map them to suitable tools and solutions, conduct demonstrations, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and work closely with sales and delivery teams.
- Participate in customer calls, discovery workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Understand customer business processes, technical landscape, pain points, and expected outcomes.
- Capture requirements related to ITSM, Agile project management, DevOps, integrations, reporting, workflows, and governance.
- Identify feasibility, gaps, risks, and assumptions during early-stage discussions
- Assist in designing solution approaches based on customer requirements.
- Map requirements to tools such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub, and other DevOps/ITSM tools.
- Support solution architecture for ITSM, Agile delivery, DevOps, project tracking, automation, reporting, and integrations.
- Work with senior consultants/architects to define implementation scope, approach, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations based on customer use cases.
- Create demo flows for Jira, JSM, Confluence, DevOps workflows, dashboards, automation, and integrations.
- Customize demos to show business value and practical implementation scenarios.
- Support responses to RFPs, RFIs, questionnaires, and technical evaluation documents.
- Prepare proposal content including scope, approach, assumptions, timelines, deliverables, and prerequisites.
- Work with sales and delivery teams to create effort estimates and solution documents.
- Support creation of presentations, solution notes, and client-facing documentation.
- Work closely with the sales team during qualification, discovery, demos, and proposal stages.
- Coordinate with delivery teams to validate feasibility, effort, risks, and implementation approach.
- Ensure smooth handover from presales to delivery after deal closure.
- Support internal knowledge sharing and reusable solution assets.
- 2–4 years of experience in technical presales, solution consulting, business analysis, technical consulting, or implementation support.
- Good understanding of ITSM, Agile project management, DevOps, and enterprise collaboration tools.
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Ability to understand workflows, integrations, reports, dashboards, automation, and process requirements.
- Experience in preparing proposals, solution documents, presentations, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers confidently.
- Ability to work with sales, technical, and delivery teams.
- Basic understanding of implementation lifecycle, project scope, timelines, assumptions, and risks.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM processes such as Incident, Service Request, Change, Problem, SLA, and CMDB.
- Understanding of DevOps toolchains, CI/CD, source code management, and integrations.
- Exposure to project management, Agile/Scrum, dashboards, reporting, and governance.
- Experience in customer-facing demos or technical presentations.
- Certifications in Atlassian, ITIL, Agile, DevOps, or cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
- Technically curious and comfortable learning new tools.
