The Valet Driver is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and courteous vehicle parking and retrieval services to hotel guests. The position requires excellent driving skills, guest-handling abilities, and a strong focus on vehicle safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide professional valet parking services.
- Receive vehicles from guests and park them safely in designated parking areas.
- Retrieve and deliver guest vehicles promptly upon request.
- Drive all guest vehicles carefully and responsibly while complying with traffic rules.
- Conduct a basic inspection of vehicles for existing damage before parking.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicles received, parked, and returned.
- Handle vehicle keys securely and maintain proper key-control procedures.
- Assist guests with luggage when required.
- Provide directions and basic information about hotel facilities and local areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet parking area.
- Report any vehicle damage, accident, complaint, or unusual incident immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure guest vehicles are locked and secured when unattended.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Bell Desk, Security, and other departments for smooth guest service.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow hotel grooming standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Valet Driver / Hotel Driver / Chauffeur preferred.
- Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
- Excellent driving and parking skills.
- Good communication and guest-handling skills.
- Polite, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
