About the Role
Anil Engineering Works is seeking an experienced Site Incharge with a strong background in industrial cross-country (CW) pipeline projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site execution, manpower, equipment, subcontractors, quality, and project progress.
Only candidates with proven experience in industrial underground and above-ground pipeline construction will be considered.
Experience Required
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in industrial pipeline construction.
- Experience in Cross Country (CW) Pipeline Projects is mandatory.
- Experience in Power Plants, Steel Plants, Oil & Gas, Refineries, or Heavy Industrial Projects.
- Must have handled both Underground (UG) and Above Ground (AG) piping works.
Key Responsibilities: Project Execution
- Plan and supervise daily construction activities.
- Coordinate with the Site Incharge to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Monitor daily productivity and prepare execution plans.
Pipeline Construction
Hands-on experience in:
- Underground pipeline installation
- Above-ground piping works
- Excavation and trench preparation
- Sand bedding and pipe lowering
- Pipe alignment and fit-up
- Welding coordination
- NDT coordination
- Hydro Testing
- Flushing
- Pre-Commissioning
- Commissioning
- Backfilling and route restoration
Team Management
- Manage supervisors, engineers, operators, welders, fitters, and labour.
- Allocate manpower and equipment efficiently.
- Monitor subcontractor performance.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Client, PMC, QA/QC, Safety, Survey, and Stores.
- Attend daily progress meetings.
- Resolve site execution issues promptly.
Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with approved Method Statements, WPS, ITPs, and Quality Procedures.
- Coordinate inspections and client approvals.
- Ensure proper documentation of completed works.
Equipment Management
Coordinate the utilization of:
- Cranes
- Excavators/Poclains
- Side Boom/Backhoe (if applicable)
- Welding Machines
- DG Sets
- Dewatering Pumps
- Lifting Equipment
Planning & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Track productivity and manpower deployment.
- Identify construction delays and propose corrective actions.
Safety
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Safety Officer to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and permit systems.
Technical Skills
Must have practical knowledge of:
- Industrial pipeline construction
- Isometric and GA drawings
- P&ID interpretation
- WPS/PQR requirements
- Hydro Test procedures
- NDT coordination
- Pipe supports
- Alignment and leveling
- Material reconciliation
- Project planning and site coordination
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Additional certifications in pipeline construction or project management will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
