What we're working with
On the front end: React and Tailwind CSS.
On the back end: Laravel (PHP) with a MySQL
database. We use Git and GitHub for everything, with pull requests and reviews
.We run an internal platform that the whole company uses every day — for tasks, expenses, our sales team, orders, products, and a handful of internal tools. It's one living codebase, and it's always growing.
We're looking for someone to help us make it better, day in and day out. This isn't a "build
something brand new from scratch" job. Most of your work will be taking real needs from the team
What you'll actually do
- Build small-to-medium features and improvements across the platform, based on what the team
needs.
- Fix bugs and smooth out the parts that feel clunky.
- Follow the way we already do things, so the codebase stays consistent and easy to live with.
- Write tests for what you change — we like to keep things working.
- Open clear, easy-to-review pull requests and ship in small, safe steps.
- Talk to the team about what they need, and to the founder about what comes first.
What we're looking for
- A couple of years building and looking after real web apps with Laravel and a modern
JavaScript framework — React especially.
- Comfortable with databases and writing queries that don't fall over.
- Good, steady Git habits — clean commits, tidy pull requests.
- Someone who writes tests because it's the right thing to do, not because they were told to.
- Reads existing code and works with its style instead of fighting it.
- Communicates clearly — can take a fuzzy request, ask the right questions, and turn it into
something that works.
- Reliable and careful, and able to run with a well-described task on their own.
Nice extras (not dealbreakers)
- Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, or progressive-web-app experience.
- Worked with roles and permissions before.
- Familiar with orders, CRM, inventory, or anything finance-related.
- Connected up outside services like payments, WhatsApp, or marketplaces.
- Comfortable with deploying — VPS, GitHub Actions, that sort of thing.
How we work
- Small, safe changes. We keep the main branch stable and the tests green.
- You'll work on your own branch, open a pull request, get a quick review, and merge.
- Trusted people on the team can deploy to production — we just expect care and good
judgement, and we never do anything destructive to live data.
- Direct and low-fuss. Not a lot of process to fight through.
The first few months
- Month 1: get to know the codebase and how we work, and start shipping small, well-tested
fixes.
- Month 2: picking up tasks on your own, asking sharp questions, and turning them around
reliably.
- Month 3: a trusted pair of hands — the person we can hand "make this better" to and know it'll
come back clean.
To apply
Send us:
- A short note on why this feels like a good fit for you.
- Links to your work or GitHub — especially anything with Laravel and React.
- A line or two on your experience looking after existing code, not just building new things.
