Job Summary
The Special Education Support Teacher is responsible for providing individualized academic, behavioural, and social-emotional support to students with special educational needs (SEN). The role involves identifying learning challenges, implementing individualized support plans, collaborating with teachers and parents, and fostering an inclusive learning environment that enables every child to achieve their fullest potential.
Qualification:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) or Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Degree or Diploma in Special Education from a recognized institution approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or an equivalent regulatory body.
- Certification or academic background in Rehabilitation Psychology.
- Additional certification or practical experience in Behaviour Therapy / Behaviour Modification Techniques will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience working with children having diverse learning needs in schools, therapy centres, or inclusive education settings.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and internship experience may also apply.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
