Job Title: Primary Teacher (PRT) & Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Location: P.D. Convent School, Gilat Bazar, Varanasi
Reports To: Principal / Administrator
Role Purpose
We are seeking passionate educators to join our faculty. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating a positive classroom atmosphere, delivering engaging lessons, and contributing to the holistic development of our students. We are currently hiring Primary Teachers (PRT) for classes Nursery to 5, and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) for classes 5 to 10.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a relevant subject-specific degree.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience in a reputable school is preferred; however, passionate freshers are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Hindi. Proficiency in using educational technology and basic computer applications is required.
- Additional Requirement: Candidates must explicitly state their marital status when applying.
Subjects to be Taught
- PRT Section: All subjects up to Grade 5.
- TGT Section: Science (including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and Social Studies (including Civics, Geography, and History).
