Job Summary
The Architect Intern will assist the Architecture and Design team in the planning, design, coordination, and execution of high-rise residential and commercial building projects. The intern will gain practical exposure to architectural design, construction documentation, site coordination, and project execution while working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Support the design team in developing conceptual, schematic, and construction drawings.
- Modify and update drawings based on design changes, consultant comments, and site requirements.
- Assist in preparing presentation drawings, design reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure design integration.
- Visit project sites to monitor architectural work and verify execution as per approved drawings.
- Assist in preparing material specifications, schedules, and quantity requirements.
- Review shop drawings submitted by contractors and vendors under the guidance of senior architects.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local building regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and project records.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material submittals, and design presentations when required.
- Participate in project meetings and record meeting minutes and action items.
- Support senior architects in resolving site-related architectural issues.
- Learn and follow quality, safety, and construction best practices.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Internship as per university curriculum or fresh graduate seeking practical experience.
Experience
- Freshers are welcome.
- Prior internship or exposure to residential or commercial projects will be an added advantage.
Skills & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of architectural design principles and building construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or other BIM/3D software is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Knowledge
- High-rise residential building design.
- Building bye-laws and development regulations.
- Construction materials and finishing works.
- Coordination with structural and MEP services.
- Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.

- Follow all company safety policies during office and site visits.
- Wear appropriate PPE while visiting construction sites.
- Maintain confidentiality of project drawings and documents.
- Adhere to company quality standards and professional ethics.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
