Onward Spaces is a design-driven interior studio focused on delivering refined, functional, and detail-oriented residential spaces. Our work combines strong aesthetics with practical execution, ensuring a seamless journey from concept to completion.
We are looking to onboard a Senior Interior Designer who can take ownership of projects and directly represent the firm in front of clients.
Role Overview
This is a client-facing leadership role requiring a designer who can independently manage projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate should be confident, creative, and capable of handling client interactions, design development, and coordination with internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client meetings, understand requirements, and translate them into design concepts
- Independently handle complete design cycles – from concept to execution
- Develop 2D drawings, layouts, and working drawings using AutoCAD
- Create 3D models, renders, and visual presentations (SketchUp / 3Ds Max + V-Ray)
- Prepare mood boards, masking layouts, and presentation decks
- Draft and manage BOQs using MS Excel
- Drive material selection, color theory application, and design detailing
- Present and justify design concepts confidently to clients
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams for execution
- Ensure timelines, quality, and design intent are maintained throughout the project
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3+ years of relevant experience in residential interior design
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture (mandatory)
- Strong proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp or 3Ds Max + V-Ray
- Photoshop
- Canva & MS PowerPoint
- MS Excel (BOQ)
