Job Summary
Acetech Precision Engineering is looking for a skilled and experienced NPD / Design Engineer or Design Manager to support new product development and manufacturing engineering activities. The ideal candidate should have strong machine shop experience, expertise in jig & fixture design, and proficiency in Mastercam and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop jigs, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing solutions.
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to production.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Develop machining concepts and support CNC programming activities.
- Work closely with production, quality, and customer teams.
- Improve manufacturing processes, productivity, and quality.
- Conduct design reviews and resolve engineering issues.
- Ensure designs meet customer, quality, and production requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in a precision engineering or machine shop environment.
- Hands-on experience in Jig & Fixture Design and Manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Mastercam and AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of CNC machining processes, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VMC, HMC, CNC Turning, Milling, and related machining processes.
- Exposure to process improvement and manufacturing optimization.
- Leadership experience preferred for Design Manager positions.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
