Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Civil Engineer to plan, supervise, and execute construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will ensure quality work, timely completion, safety compliance, and proper coordination with contractors, vendors, and site staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise civil construction activities at project sites.
- Prepare project schedules, estimates, and material requirements.
- Monitor daily site work and ensure work is completed as per drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and vendors.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Verify measurements, bills, and contractor payments.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
- Resolve technical issues arising at the construction site.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
- Monitor manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
- Review structural drawings and construction plans.
- Handle government approvals and site compliance requirements if needed.
- Report project progress to management regularly.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and site management.
- Understanding of AutoCAD, BOQ, estimation, and project planning.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple site activities efficiently.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction/project execution.
- (Fresher’s can also apply if required.)
Preferred Industry:
- Construction / Infrastructure / FMCG / Manufacturing / Real Estate.
Working Conditions:
- Site-based work with regular field visits.
- Ability to work under deadlines and project timelines.
