Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Mechanical Product Designer to lead the design and development of advanced mechanical products, precision components, industrial enclosures, and technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in product engineering, industrial design, CAD modeling, and manufacturing processes, along with hands-on experience in transforming concepts into production-ready products.
This role demands strong technical leadership, creativity, problem-solving capability, and proficiency in modern mechanical and graphic design tools.
Requirements
● Academic qualification : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Product Design / Industrial Design or related field
● Preferrable Technical Course
● Years of experience : 3 to 7 years
● Mandatory Expertise in below software
o SolidWorks
o AutoCAD
o CAD Software
o 2D Design
o 3D Modeling & Rendering
o CorelDRAW
o Adobe Photoshop
Roles & Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
● Lead end-to-end mechanical product design from concept to final production.
● Design innovative mechanical systems, precision components, industrial products, and product enclosures.
● Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, rendering, and technical documentation.
● Develop aesthetically appealing and functionally optimized product designs.
● Conduct design validation, tolerance analysis, and prototype optimization.
CAD & Engineering Design
● Create advanced 2D and 3D mechanical designs using industry-standard software.
● Develop production-ready drawings, fabrication details, and assembly documentation.
● Perform design modifications and engineering improvements based on testing and manufacturing feedback.
● Ensure compliance with engineering standards, GD&T practices, and manufacturability requirements.
Software & Design Tool Utilization
● Work extensively on:
o SolidWorks
o AutoCAD
o CAD Modeling Software
o 2D & 3D Design Platforms
o CorelDRAW
● Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
● Prepare product renderings, presentation drawings, concept illustrations, and technical graphics.
● Support branding-oriented product visualization and industrial presentation designs.
Manufacturing & Product Engineering
● Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing teams for fabrication and production.
● Work on sheet metal, CNC machining, plastic molding, die-casting, and product assembly processes.
● Support prototype development, testing, and production scaling.
● Optimize products for cost, quality, durability, and manufacturability.
Leadership & Coordination
● Mentor junior designers and engineers.
● Coordinate with R&D, electronics, production, and procurement teams.
● Manage project timelines, design reviews, and engineering deliverables.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
