Job Summary:
A Hotel Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations of the hotel and providing excellent customer service to guests. The role includes greeting guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, and addressing guest inquiries in a professional manner and providing excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant stay for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Reception
o Greet and welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
o Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
2. Reservation Management
o Handle room bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
o Maintain accurate records of reservations.
3. Customer Service
o Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
o Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
4. Communication
o Answer phone calls and respond to emails from guests.
o Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding room status and guest requests.
5. Administrative Duties
o Maintain front desk records and guest information.
o Handle billing, payments, and issue receipts.
6. Security and Safety
o Verify guest identification and ensure proper documentation.
o Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Graduation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-service approach.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Experience:
0–2 years of relevant experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: As per industry standards.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
