Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data‑driven social media strategies that align with overall marketing and business goals across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Build and manage always‑on content calendars, coordinating with design, video, and copy teams (or agencies) to ensure timely delivery of assets.coursera+1
- Use AI tools for trend monitoring, audience research, content brainstorming, and draft generation, then refine outputs manually to ensure accuracy, brand tone, and platform best practices.improvado+1
- Create or oversee creation of multi‑format content (static posts, carousels, Reels, TikToks, stories, short‑form vertical video), optimizing for social SEO and in‑platform search.
- Manage community interactions: respond to comments and DMs, escalate customer issues appropriately, and use AI‑assisted responses where suitable while maintaining human oversight.
- Collaborate with performance marketing teams on paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, creative testing, and optimizing campaigns based on analytics.
- Partner with influencers and creators: identify relevant profiles, manage outreach, negotiate deliverables, and track performance of collaborations.
- Monitor platform trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activity; run experiments to test new formats, features, and AI workflows.
- Track and report KPIs (reach, engagement, followers, CTR, CPC, conversions, and social‑driven revenue) and translate insights into clear recommendations for leadership.
- Establish guidelines for ethical and secure use of AI (data privacy, bias awareness, content originality) within the social media workflow.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for brands, agencies, or professional services, with proven results in growth and engagement.coursera+1
- Strong understanding of major social platforms, algorithms, and best practices for short‑form video and social SEO.
- Demonstrated AI fluency: experienced in using generative AI tools for ideation, copy drafts, asset variations, and performance insights, plus basic prompt‑engineering skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Metricool) and analytics dashboards.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone across platforms and audiences.
- Strong project management skills for handling multiple accounts, campaigns, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to read data and connect social metrics to business outcomes (leads, sales, brand lift).
