Qualification | Bachelors in Computer Science or IT Experience (in years) | 8 Power BI Developer (4-5 Years Experience) We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, data modeling, Power Automate, and SharePoint Lists, with the ability to transform business requirements into insightful dashboards, reports, and workflow automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Report Development & Data Modeling Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Convert business problems into technical solutions using DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices. Optimize report performance through efficient data modeling, relationships, and query optimization. Develop and publish reports in Power BI Service, ensuring proper workspace and access management. Build robust data models (star schema/snowflake schema) using Power BI Desktop. Develop and maintain ETL processes using Power Query (M Language) and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, SharePoint Lists, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms. Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reports and dashboards. Design scalable datasets and implement Row-Level Security (RLS) where required. Power Automate & SharePoint Solutions Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes, automate approvals, notifications, and data movement between systems. Create and manage SharePoint Lists as data repositories for business applications and reporting solutions. Integrate Power BI reports with SharePoint Online and automate report distribution using Power Automate. Collaboration & Requirements Gathering Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and design BI and automation solutions. Collaborate with data engineering teams to define and deliver data structures that support reporting and analytical needs. Skill Set Required | • Strong experience with AWS Glue, Spark, PySpark, and Python. • Hands-on expertise in dbt for data transformations and testing. • Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and Apache Iceberg. • Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. • Proficiency in Redshift and SQL performance tuning. • Familiarity with GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline). • Solid understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and performance optimization.
