We are looking for the quality engineer in a steel ball manufacturing company . The role covers all the QC systems .
Technical Key Responsibilities:
- Key Responsibilities
- Visual Inspection: Visually examine parts for defects such as cracks, dent , cut mark or non-conforming surface textures.
- Dimensional Measurement: Use various gauges, including microscope, measuring instruments, and computer-based systems, to verify that part dimensions and contours align with specifications.
- Defect Identification & Documentation: Identify, document, and sort defective parts, marking them for rework, salvage, or scrap according to company procedures.
- Data Recording: Record inspection data using computers or other tools and inform relevant personnel, such as operators or quality sub-leaders, of the results.
- Quality Adherence: Ensure all inspections are performed according to company policies, quality standards (IATF 16949), and work instructions.
- QM : Support in QM pillar
1. Inspection and Testing
- Check raw materials, in-process items, and finished products
- Use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)
- Perform visual inspections and functional tests
2. Compliance with Standards
- Ensure products meet company, industry, and regulatory standards
- Follow quality control procedures and guidelines
- Verify adherence to IATF or other quality systems
- Documentation work upgraded as per system.
3. Documentation and Reporting
- Record inspection results accurately
- Maintain quality reports and logs
- Report defects or deviations to supervisors
4. Identifying Defects
- Detect faults, damages, or inconsistencies
- Separate defective products from acceptable ones
- Suggest corrective actions
5. Process Monitoring
- Observe production processes to ensure consistency
- Help improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
- Work with production teams to reduce errors

Qualification:
Male / Female both candidate preferred
- Graduate/ ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 1 to 3 years experience
- Strong communication and inter personal skills.
