About the Role
Asahi India Glass Ltd. (AIS) is looking for motivated and enthusiastic ITI Fitter and ITI Welder freshers to join our manufacturing team. The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting production, maintenance, fitting, and welding activities while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh ITI graduates to begin their careers with one of India's leading glass manufacturing companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Perform fitting, assembly, welding, and fabrication work as assigned.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Report equipment issues or abnormalities to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI Pass in Fitter or Welder Trade.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, or welding techniques.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Good learning attitude and positive work ethic.
