We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a wide range of expertise in various cuisines, including:
The Head Chef will be responsible for the following:
- Creating innovative menus and designing aesthetically appealing plates
- Controlling food and wastage costs while ensuring high standards
- Setting and achieving monthly budgets and revenue targets
- Recruiting, training, and managing kitchen staff
- Implementing kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene standards
- Reporting to management with detailed and accurate reports on performance, costs, and staffing
- Collaborating with management to drive the restaurant’s culinary direction
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional kitchens, with knowledge of a wide variety of cuisines
- Expertise in food plating, menu creation, and cost control
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet financial targets
