Summary
We're looking for a Photo Post-Production Artist who can handle the full range of image post-production at The VR Company — colour correction, photo manipulation, retouching, and panoramic image processing. You'll work across our real estate shoots and 3D renders, making sure every image that goes out is clean, colour-accurate, and client-ready. If you're the kind of person who notices a two-degree white balance shift or a misaligned stitch line, you'll fit right in.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform colour correction and colour grading on photographs from drone shoots, on-site photography, and studio setups.
- Colour-correct and enhance 3D renders and walkthrough stills to achieve photorealistic, client-ready output.
- Handle photo manipulation — sky replacements, object removal, compositing, exposure blending, and perspective corrections.
- Process, stitch, and retouch panoramic and 360° images for virtual tours and interactive experiences.
- Ensure colour consistency across image sets within a project — shoots, renders, and panoramas should feel like one cohesive visual package.
- Retouch and clean up architectural and interior photography — removing construction debris, correcting lens distortion, enhancing lighting.
- Work closely with the 3D team to align render output with the desired visual tone before final delivery.
- Collaborate with the video and creative teams to maintain a consistent visual language across stills and motion.
- Organise, name, and archive processed image files following project folder structures and delivery standards.
- Flag quality issues in source material and communicate with shoot or 3D teams for re-shoots or re-renders when needed.
You are a great fit if you have:
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom — this is non-negotiable.
- Proven experience in colour correction, retouching, and photo manipulation for commercial or real estate photography.
- Working knowledge of panoramic image stitching and 360° image processing (PTGui,Pano2VR, or similar tools).
- A sharp eye for colour accuracy, skin tones, material textures, and lighting consistency.
- Familiarity with 3D render post-processing — knowing how to polish a render without making it look over-edited.
- Understanding of colour spaces, file formats, and resolution standards for print and digital delivery.
- Ability to handle high volumes without dropping quality — real estate projects often involve large image sets with tight turnarounds.
- Good communication skills and the ability to take creative direction from the production and 3D teams.
- Well-organised approach to file management and version control.
What We Offer
- A role at the centre of our visual output — every project passes through your hands before it reaches the client.
- Exposure to a mix of real-world photography and 3D production, not just one or the other.
- A growing studio where your eye for detail directly raises the bar on what we deliver.
