About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Design Manager with 3–5 years of experience in architectural design management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential horizontal and vertical development, with expertise in architectural planning, coordination, and project execution.
This role focuses exclusively on architectural design and management. While interior design is not a core responsibility, close coordination with the interior design team is required throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design, plotting, and master planning activities to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Collaborate with the land acquisition and liaison team to evaluate project feasibility and prepare test-fit studies.
- Coordinate with external consultants and technical experts, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related design coordination.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including interior design, marketing, sales, project management, and site execution teams.
- Plan and conduct project kickoff meetings, design reviews, and weekly progress meetings.
- Review consultant submissions and provide technical recommendations and feedback.
- Ensure all architectural designs comply with applicable building codes, statutory regulations, and organizational quality standards.
- Prepare feasibility studies, design proposals, presentations, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with MEP consultants, landscape architects, and other design professionals to develop integrated design solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality, resolve design issues, document observations, and prepare site visit reports.
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams and proactively resolve architectural challenges.
- Oversee snagging, final inspections, and project handover to ensure all design specifications are achieved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) – Mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Architecture or Urban Planning – Preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Required Skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and area calculations.
- Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Familiarity with Revit, Green Building Protocols, and DCPR is an added advantage.
- Previous site execution or coordination experience is preferred.
