We're seeking an experienced Android Developer to build innovative, user-friendly mobile apps alongside our design and engineering teams. You should know the Android platform well and work fluently with modern AI development tools as a core part of how you build, test, and ship.
Responsibilities
Design and build advanced Android applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
Integrate external data sources and RESTful APIs.
Unit-test code for robustness, edge cases, and reliability.
Use AI coding assistants to speed up development, testing, and debugging — while owning code quality and security.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance.
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
AI Tools (Required)
Fluency with AI-assisted development is required. Experience with these is preferred:
Claude AI / Claude Code — agentic coding and refactoring.
Google Antigravity — Gemini-powered agent-first dev platform.
Claude Cowork — AI for docs, research, and planning.
Gemini in Android Studio — in-IDE AI companion for Android.
GitHub Copilot and Cursor — AI pair programming.
Nice to have: JetBrains AI Assistant, Tabnine.
AI tools assist the work; you stay accountable for everything you ship.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven Android development experience with a strong portfolio.
Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java.
Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android UI frameworks.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs for back-end integration.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Hands-on experience using AI development tools in a real workflow.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Agile methodologies; software design patterns and architecture.
Version control with Git; CI/CD tooling.
Experience with AI-assisted workflows or MCP tools.
Active in the Android community (forums, blogs, open source).
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
