Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and preparing financial reports. The role requires strong expertise in GST, TDS, taxation, book keeping, audit, and financial statement preparation. The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support management with accurate financial information and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Record and verify journal entries, ledger postings, and accounting transactions.
- Prepare and file GST Returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Prepare and file TDS Returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Manage taxation-related activities and coordinate with tax consultants when required.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Finalize books of accounts and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors during audit processes.
- Verify purchase, sales, payment, and receipt entries.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Taxation.
- Experience in GST & TDS Return Filing.
- Knowledge of Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, and Ledger Management.
- Experience in Finalization of Books of Accounts.
- Knowledge of Internal, Statutory, and Tax Audits.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and Tally Prime/ERP.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with high attention to detail.
Education: B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter will be an added advantage.)
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experence
Documents: Aadhar Card, PAN Card
Duty Time: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday Weekly Off)
Location: Udhana, Surat
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
