Job Description – Industrial Engineer (Apparel Manufacturing)
Industry: Apparel Manufacturing
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 5–6 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production line planning, line balancing, and capacity planning.
- Conduct time & motion studies and establish accurate SAM/SMV.
- Analyze production data to improve efficiency, productivity, and manpower utilization.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement technical solutions for process improvement.
- Prepare and monitor capacity, efficiency, target, and productivity reports.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to improve line performance.
- Optimize manpower allocation, machine utilization, and production flow.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, machines, operations, and production systems.
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of apparel manufacturing and IE processes.
- Good understanding of SOP, SMV/SAM, line balancing, capacity planning, and production planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and production/IE reporting.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and execution skills.
Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in apparel manufacturing plants and proven experience in improving production efficiency.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
